| Many
of your projects look more fanasy driven. Do you ever work on historically
accurate projects? When we are developing our products lines, our focus is more modern fantasy. We have the resources to work on creating more historically accurate pieces as well. So, yes we can and have worked on historically accurate project and can do so for custom orders, but tend to develop modern fantasy pieces our products lines. |

| Your
prices seem almost too good to be true! Why is that? One of the things we strive for is to supply consumers with quality arms that most people can afford. There are many products out there that are very nice and beautiful, but, unfortunately, way out of many people’s price range. We try to be somewhere right in the middle giving you quality hand crafted arms at reasonable prices. |

| Are
your swords functional? Our swords and arms are by all definitions, functional. The disclaimer on the website of them being intented for display is two-fold. The major one is legality in the event of misuse. The second reason is more of a philosophical one by the maker. While he does indeed make swords and arms, it is more for the look and feel of each piece, rather than what it is capable of doing. What can you say, he's a sword maker that can't stand violence. While that may seem like a paradox, it does not detract from the ability to use the swords as they were originally meant to be used. Each piece is carefully designed and assembled to ensure a quality sword that is durable and will last a long time, from point to pommel. |
|
| What
kind of steel do you use in the creation of your swords? |
|
| What
Rockwell measurement are your blades generally hardened to?
|
|
| What
kind of edges are put on your blades? The edges are as varied as the many designs. The cross-sections of each piece is different and therefore call for different edge geometries, from complete lenticular to diamond with an edge bevel. Some do not have an edge, but the main bevels are ground down enough to allow for fairly easy addition of an edge bevel. For custom orders, the edge is entirely up to the customer's wishes. |
|
| Is
sharpening available? Most blades that leave the shop are not sharp. Shapening is available on request and sometimes for an additional fee. It is not available for other maker's wares. |
|
| Do
you balance your weapons with use in mind? Balance is an aspect that is taken into account throughout the entire design and manufacture process of each sword, and, again, it varies with each piece. Every part of a sword effects the "feel" and how it balances, and for this reason, the pieces are constantly handled to make sure it feels right in the hand. No matter how crazy or strange of a blade design, the finished piece will always feel good in the hand. |
